Yes. The Mini Controller Pro mounts on a post or wall and the sensors click into their holder, so the same setup can be taken down and installed again at another tank, pond or site. A typical installation takes under 60 minutes. Each site needs a power supply: the 2-hour battery backup covers power interruptions, not long-term unplugged operation.
The Optical DO & Temperature Sensor is included as standard and measures dissolved oxygen (mg/L and % saturation) and water temperature. You can add a digital pH sensor (pH 0 to 14, ±0.1), a Micro-Climate Sensor (light, air temperature and humidity) and an ultrasonic Feed Level Sensor (4 to 400 cm). The self-cleaning holder takes up to 4 sensors. If your study needs another parameter, contact us to discuss it.
The standard Optical DO & Temperature Sensor is accurate to ±3% or 0.11 mg/L at 29°C and calibrates in ambient air, with no tools or solutions needed. The optional digital pH sensor is accurate to ±0.1 pH and uses a two-point calibration (pH 7 and pH 10). We recommend calibrating both sensors weekly. See full sensor specifications →
In FarmOS, you can view real-time and historical water-quality data and export selected sensor data and date ranges as CSV for analysis in your own tools. To connect HydroNeo data directly to your research systems, contact us to request API access.
Every Mini Controller Pro includes 12 months of IoT PLUS, with sensor data sent to FarmOS every 2 minutes. After that, you can keep IoT PLUS for 2-minute data, or switch to IoT CORE, which syncs every 4 hours with the current, minimum, maximum and median readings for that period. Without a subscription, the controller keeps working locally and shows live readings on its screen.
You keep full access to your data and can export it at any time. We never sell your data, and no third party may use it to train AI models without your written consent. If you prefer that HydroNeo does not use your data to improve its own models either, you can opt out in writing. Sensor data is stored for as long as your subscription runs and for two years after it ends. If you close your account, you have 90 days to export your data.
