Many aquaculture experts and scientists have emphasized the importance of oxygen saturation in aquaculture farming. At HydroNeo’s Research & Development Farm in Ban Phaeo, Samut Sakhon, we live and breathe aquaculture—constantly testing, refining, and validating our technology. Based on our own production and trials, we can confirm for ourselves on published studies that maintaining oxygen saturation between 60–100% can significantly reduce FCR, enhance growth rates, and improve survival rates. 

I’d like to further elaborate on what we’ve achieved in our most recent production cycle: an FCR of 1.1, a total yield of 8.8 tons, and a real survival rate of 98%. It’s important to note that our reported survival rate is the real survival rate, based on accurate counts using a shrimp counting machine. Typically, when ordering shrimp post-larvae, farms receive extra PLs as a buffer. Not accounting for these extras in survival rate calculations leads to inaccurate calculation results which sound more favorable but are wrong. By using real numbers, we ensure that our insights and decisions are based on precise and reliable information. 

This isn’t just theory—it’s backed by results. Our system has been proven by the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives and is trusted by Thai farmers nationwide. Studies show up to a 13% increase in productivity. That means for every 100 tons harvested, you could gain an additional 13 tons—translating directly into more profit.
