HydroNeo, the award-winning German-Thai start-up offering innovative Smart Farming Solutions for aquaculture farms, today announced the appointment of Oliver Becker as Financial Director effective of January 1, 2021.

About Oliver Becker:
Prior to joining HydroNeo, Oliver has served as Chief Commercial & Community Officer (CCO) at True Digital Park, Southeast Asia’s largest tech and startup hub, where he could build a strong network in SEA’s startup and corporate scene. He moved to Thailand in 2016 from Germany, where he spent almost twenty years working predominately for international banks gaining experience across Corporate Finance, Corporate & Investment Banking and Private Equity. In his latest roles, he acted as Head of Corporate Banking Coverage Germany for Barclays Plc., responsible for Client Coverage of the German Corporate Banking clients as well as Director for The Royal Bank of Scotland in Acquisition Financing and Structuring, Ratings Advisory and Portfolio Management. Direct industry experience has been gained during his time working for Otto Group, one of the world’s largest non-food / e-commerce retailer acting as Senior Financial Controller in the Groups CFO policy unit.
